Day with Thomas!

Today we traveled to Perris, CA for a Day with Thomas the Tank Engine!!! A special day just for Garen who has an unhealthy obsession with trains and especially Thomas! We had a great time and can't wait to do it again next year. Thanks for coming with us Nana. Hope you had a great time too!

Lizzie's first photo shoot!

Here are a sample of Lizzie's first photo shoot. A great friend took these as a baby gift and did an amazing job! Lizzie is 7 wks now and is doing well. She's growing and gaining weight and best of all she's super mellow! A great addition to the family!

Swim lessons

Hey all,

Both boys are in swim lessons on base. G is not doing a great job of listening, but we'll see how it goes. I really just wanted to get him exposed to swim lessons. He'll do much better next year. Russ is working on the importance of blowing his air out underwater. It's only been one day, but I think these lessons will be 100% better than the ones Russ took at the Y. If only they would listen to me like their instructors.... Actually, one of the first things they did were superman glides.... when she asked how they are done, Russ knew and said, "Just like my mommy taught me."

Here are some photos...

Finally finished!!!

Hi All,

I finally finished Russ' quilt! I started it in April! He better appreciate all the hard work mama put into it.... (he probably won't).

All is well. Lizzie is getting big. About 7 more weeks until the big day. Time is flying, but it's slowing down the bigger I get!

The boys are good. They are also getting bigger. My babies no more :o( G still loves trains with an unhealthy passion and Russ has been big into Legos.

Here are some photos. We went to the beach and fire station last week. I love staying home with the kids! Sorry for the sideways photo... I'm lazy and I'm not going to take the time to change it!

Take care!

Camping

Hey everyone,

We just got back from camping at Sequoia National Park with my parents, sister and her family. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the beauty of nature. The boys took to the dirt right away and loved every minute of it. We had to keep on reigning them in because they just wanted to explore. We took our eyes off G for just a few minutes and found him 40 feet up the hill behind our campsite! All I could see was our future trip/s to the ER. I can't remember how often I was sucking air through my teeth as I watched one of our boys defy gravity and physics and somehow make it safely through a grove of rocks or down a rocky steep hill.

We had a great campsite and had 2 brown bears and 3 deer transit about 25 feet from our camp. We also had our own set of campground chipmunks. Russ really enjoyed chasing after them and scaring them away.

Daddy took a spelunking excursion at Crystal Caves and had a blast. He found himself rolling around in cave dirt and giggling like a boy. He was geared up with a head lamp, knee and elbow pads and found himself squeezing through holes he thought would be impossible for him to fit though.

We had a great time and look forward to camping again.

Take care!
